St Thomas' Philadelphia and the King's Centre have a vision to 'call our city back to God.'' (see the Our City page for information about Sheffield).
This means that in partnership with other churches such as St Thomas' Crookes we are working for a regenerated, healthy, prosperous city with strong communities and freedoom from addiction, crime and violence, as well as opportunities for people to choose to follow Jesus.

All of our ministries and structures are centred around the desire to see the Kingdom of God transform the lives of people in Sheffield.
We seek to fulfil this vision by living our lives according to the principles and values of Lifeshapes and through our structures of cell, cluster and celebration.
Alongside our call to the city, we feel God has given us the call to be a 'minster church' - a resource to our own church members but also to the wider church. This is expressed primarily through our conferences, network and resources available on our website.
