Outside Sheffield
St. Thomas' Church isn't simply contained within the city of Sheffield. We have families and individuals working to start up church plants all around the country.
One such family is the Biltawi family. The Biltawi's have begun the challenging task of planting a missional church into the city of Warrington.
WHAT THEY'RE DOING...
The Biltawis are basically just going out and doing whatever they can to bring God's kingdom here on earth, whether that's doing mission on the streets or setting up small group bible studies. They are looking for people that are open to them and helping those people to discover who Jesus is within the context they find themselves in.
Often this means simply having a good laugh. Weekend mission trips occasionally happen on the football field...or on a Saturday afternoon shop. 
And already, exciting things are happening. The family has seen healings in coffee shops and shopping centres in Warrington.

The Biltawi Family consists of Steve, Ruth, Grace, Ethan and Simeon. Check out their pictures below.
PRAYER REQUESTS
The family is looking to set up a monthly group in Starbucks that will have a bit of discussion about Jesus' perspective on current issues and the news. They want to give people time to feed back about current issues, relationships, life and family and offer a prayer and response time following the conversation. They ask that you'd pray for the visioning, development and practicalities of starting up such a project.
They also ask for prayer regarding:
- Doors opening for venues they can meet in
- Favour with God and men
- Team - they want to find Christians with a similar vision
- Finances and provision. The family is living by faith and need God to provide all they need for life and ministry.
